Questions & Answers
Q: Why AMILI?
A: While most gut microbiome databases are sampled from the Western world, AMILI’s insights and solutions are based on their database of multi-ethnic Asian gut profiles. Asian gut microbiomes differ from Western ones due to environment, lifestyle and diet, hence AMILI’s database provides a more accurate assessment for people living in Asia. The dietary recommendations also focus on foods that are accessible in this part of the world.
Q: Will AMILI's gut health solutions work if I live in Asia but am not Asian?
A: Yes! Studies show that the gut microbiome is impacted both by where you live and what you eat. The AMILI Gut Health Tests and Probiotics are designed using their database of dietary, lifestyle and microbial profiles of people living in Asia. This means that even if you are not ethnically Asian, AMILI will still be suitable for you.
Q: Who should not take the Gut Health Test?
A: Do not take the test if you are menstruating, have diarrhea, or if you are taking antibiotics. The Gut Health Test should only be taken at least 2 weeks after the last usage of antibiotics.
